Hi There!

I’m Sarah

I get how overwhelming food and mealtimes can feel—exhausting, stressful, and anything but simple. As a pediatric dietitian who loves both good nutrition and good food, I’m here to support your family in building a positive relationship with food, creating lasting healthy habits and well-being for the long run.

My Story

Hi, I’m Sarah, a dedicated pediatric dietitian with over 14 years of experience supporting families with practical, real-life nutrition strategies. My passion lies in helping families navigate the complexities of feeding their children, including those with specialty diets. As a home, self-taught chef, I combine my professional expertise with a love for cooking to create practical, delicious, and nutritious solutions that work for real families.  I’ve worked with countless parents to tackle a variety of challenges, from managing picky eaters to developing balanced meal plans that accommodate dietary restrictions. My approach is always personalized, ensuring that each family receives the guidance and support they need to build healthy eating habits that last a lifetime.

I have a passion for children, food, and nutrition, and I am dedicated to helping families develop a healthy relationship with food. As a parent, I understand the many struggles that come with mealtime and deciding what to feed your family. I believe in the importance of family time and strive to make mealtime a positive and inclusive experience for everyone. I have experienced firsthand how my food choices affect my health. I am the mom to two amazing kids and have been able to use some of my own advice and have it challenged of course. My goal is to support you on this journey, making it easier and more enjoyable.

My Philosophy

My approach is realistic, down to earth, consistent and family focused. I encourage a love of cooking, with all foods part of that in moderation. Being restrictive or rewarding with food often backfires but setting boundaries and role modeling as a parent or caregiver helps children make those habits that will stay with them through adulthood. I focus on lifestyle habits and behaviors, and want to empower families to make slow, sustainable healthy choices for their family.

I enjoy the outdoors and hiking!

I have a passion for gardening, growing lots of veggies, flowers, and herbs—though my skills are very much still a work in progress.

A quirky childhood favorite: I used to eat applesauce on my mashed potatoes.

I did a study abroad in Paris during college and dream of going back one day.
